Micropigmentation Training

The Sherborne Clinic is one of the very few establishments in the south west of England that offers training in permanent make-up and advanced/paramedical procedures, generally known as micropigmentation.
The Sherborne Clinic has two light and spacious training areas and students can be assured that they will get the opportunity to work on 'live' models, i.e. 'real people', and not just practice materials!
Unlike some training facilities, students will have to satisfy Alison that they have mastered the training before being issued any certificate.
Certificates are issued at the successful completion of each course.
There is no requirement for the student to finish the course, then go away and provide proof of procedures carried out prior to a certificate being issued.
This is a grey area, as it may transpire that the uncertificated student may not be able to get Public Liability and/or Professional Indemnity insurance.

All micropigmentation training courses are carried out under the personal tutelage of Alison West, the clinic director.

Alison is a highly experienced and respected Aesthetic Micropigmentation Specialist and Tutor and carries out a number of procedures at both The Sherborne Clinic and at her outreach clinic facilities at Salisbury District Hospital.

A comprehensive range of training courses are available at the Sherborne Clinic for those who are considering a new career in this exciting and fast growing industry, as well as advanced courses for Permanent Make-Up technicians that wish to enhance their portfolio of treatments that they can offer.
It is important to note that Alison trains her students in full compliance with the Government approved National Occupational Standards, set down by 'HABIA', the Government approved Health And Beauty Industry Association.
Potential students should be advised that not all training facilities follow such guidelines.
It should also be remembered that Alison is a member of the
Royal Society of Medicine.
